Heading to the USA

First of all, Praise God that we are going to be back with our children for Christmas and have the chance to update all of our prayer partners about what God has been doing.

Since our time is limited we will not just be speaking at churches but also planning "Missions Parties" A Missions Party is a lot like a Tupperware Party except that you aren't there to hear about Tupperware, you are there to hear about Missions and particularly what God is doing in Kenya. 

Our time is short, so if you want to host a Missions Party let us know NOW.
We are working out our calendar right now and you can get on there while there are still dates available.

Back in Kenya

First of all, Praise God that we are back in Kenya.

We have a lot to do before we can move up to Isiolo.

1. Pray that we are able to complete the application for renewal of our work permit.
2. Pray for us as we work with EVC to teach one of their members how to keep their website updated.
3. Pray for us as we explain the vision that God has given us for our work in Isiolo, that we will be open to the guidance and opinions of Pastor Woche and how best to proceed with starting the project "Bringing the Desert Back to Life"  ( http://www.nomads4jesus.com/projects.html )
4. Pray for us to remain strong spiritually as we battle with satan and his desire to keep us from completing the tasks that God has set before us.
5. Pray for us to keep our eyes open to where God is working and stop and do the things that He is commanding us to do.
6. Praise God for allowing us to be able to help a family with a sick child.

Thank you for your prayers. Your prayers release God's power into our lives.

Another Step

Another step closer!

1) Praise the Lord we have partnered with World Outreach Ministries. WOM has been helping missionaries fulfill their call for 34 years. They are serving over 200 missionaries in this capacity. We fell blessed to be partnering with them and are excited to see what God holds for us.

2) Please pray for us as we determine the exact date we should return to Kenya. The Kenya Presidential Elections are March 4th.  The last presidential election ended in a war that killed over 800 people and displaced over 600,000 people.  We have been advised by our mentors and veteran missionaries in Kenya to wait until after the elections to book our tickets. And we feel that this is the wise course of action.

3) Please continue to pray for our spiritual preparation for our return to Kenya. It is important that we are spiritually prepared for the battle that we will surely face when we arrive. Satan does not want us to be there and he will oppose us.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers. They release God's power to work miracles in our lives and we appreciate them. 

The Final Steps

It seems as though we are finally accomplishing the final steps towards our return to Kenya.

1) Praise the Lord we received Ross' US Passport.

2) Praise the Lord we have an appointment with a mission agency that has agreed to do our covering for our non-profit status.

3) Please pray as we meet with this agency, that God will direct us and tell us if we should partner with them.

4) Please pray for us as we determine the exact date we should return to Kenya.
